Our Story
A woman official tourist guide, after her first service as an
assistant guide with a group of hikers on the famous Inca trail,
learned that this profession authenticated her life as a woman
from the Andes, working in the mountains became
one of her strongest inspirations to work for years in the industry
as such and to develop new projects for her community.
In Peru, many things have changed regarding how tourism has
influenced the lives of many local people, in some cases very
positively but also negatively, and all this has awakened the desire
to practice actions that improve our lives as indigenous men
and women in the face of new influences from the world.
The appearance of Mother Earth Treks has formed its team
of women and men identified in good practices to make a positive
impact during the development of our actions within
tourism in Peru.
